I composed this song for a cabaret called "Overheard"- produced during an Atlantic Theater Company summer season in Vermont- it told of unrequited love and heartbreak. The pain of wanting something you can never have resonates for years. Even after the healing process, the sense of longing remains with us in our dreams and memory.
